Our 'Conscious Consumption' Policy
We are not a fast-fashion brand. We are a "conscious consumption" brand, which means every item is printed "made-to-order" just for you.
This model is core to our mission of creating "zero overproduction" and preventing the textile waste that plagues our industry. Because your item was created uniquely for you, we cannot accept traditional returns or restock it.
We believe in a fair, sustainable compromise that protects you, our small business, and the planet. Please read our policy below.
1. Fit, Sizing, or Preference Issues (The 'At-Cost' Swap)
We know sizing can be tricky. If your item doesn't fit, we offer a one-time 'at-cost' replacement.
You don't pay full price again. You simply cover the flat cost of the new, blank garment and our sustainable printing process. This shared-cost model allows us to stay true to our zero-waste mission while working with you to get the perfect fit.
Replacement Fees:
- T-Shirt Replacement Fee: $12
- Hoodie/Sweatshirt Replacement Fee: $20
To be eligible for an 'At-Cost' Swap:
- You must contact us at support@clutchcloth.com within 14 days of delivery.
- The item must be in its original, unworn, and unwashed condition.
- This applies to size-swaps for the same design only.
- No return shipping is required. To save on emissions and hassle, you do not need to send the original item back.
2. Manufacturing Defects, Damage, or Misprints
If your order arrives misprinted, damaged, or defective, we will, of course, make it right at no cost to you.
Please contact us at support@clutchcloth.com within 30 days of receiving your order. To help us resolve this quickly, please include:
- Your Order Number.
- Clear photos showing the defect or damage.
Once verified, we will immediately send a free replacement or issue a full refund to your original payment method. We will cover all costs, and you do not need to send the defective item back unless we request it for a quality control inspection (in which case we will provide a free shipping label).
3. Delivery & Shipping Issues
- Order Lost in Transit: If your order's tracking has not updated for 10 consecutive business days, please contact us. We will work with the carrier to investigate. If the item is confirmed lost, we will send a free replacement.
- Incorrect Address: We are not responsible for orders lost or returned due to an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer. If an order is returned to us, we can reship it to the correct address for a new shipping fee.
- Stolen After Delivery: We are not responsible for packages that are stolen after the tracking confirms they have been "Delivered." If this occurs, please contact your local postal service or law enforcement to report the theft.
4. European Union (EU) 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. The item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unwashed, and in its original packaging. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
5. The Fine Print (Important Notes)
- Print Tolerances: All our items are 'made-to-order'. This means there may be minor variations in print placement, typically up to 0.5 inches. This is not considered a manufacturing defect.
- Size Charts: We provide detailed size charts on every product page. Please review them carefully before ordering to ensure the best fit and avoid the need for an 'at-cost' swap.
- Final Sale Items: All sales of Gift Cards, sale-priced items, and custom-request orders are final and not eligible for our swap or return policies.
- How to Start a Request: To initiate any request, please email us at support@clutchcloth.com with your order number and a clear description of the issue.
