With decades of experience and deep ties to the Western Canadian motorsport community, Michael’s not just a racer — he’s a highlight reel in motion.

The Machines
His 1979 Ford F‑150 Shortbox Ranger isn’t just a build — it’s a family legacy. Factory ordered by his parents, stolen, crashed, and left for dead for over a decade, Michael brought it back to life in high school and turned it into a showpiece. Now sitting on a 6.5-inch Superlift with Ford Raptor shocks and copper-plated accents, the big-block 460 beast is a regular trophy taker, winning Best in Show Ford (Driven YYC 2022, 2024) and Best in Class Ford (Driven Edmonton 2024), among others.
His 1985 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z is just as mean. After running an LS/Nitrous setup for years, he returned the car to its roots with a monstrous GT55-based 94mm turbo build by True North Turbos. It’s cooled by a custom air-to-air intercooler, dialed in with Black Sheep Industries blowoff valves and wastegates, and has already claimed a Dash for Cash win at Three Hills — and clocked a blistering 5.56 at 130mph.
